1. Overview
PinPilot is a private content publishing workflow operated for the owner's own business use. It is designed to help prepare, organize, schedule, and publish original affiliate-related content to the owner's Pinterest account.
2. Information we may process
When the owner connects Pinterest and grants permission, PinPilot may process limited account information required for the selected features, such as the owner's boards, Pins, Pin identifiers, publishing status, and performance data made available through the authorized API.
PinPilot may also process product information supplied by the owner, such as product names, categories, prices, product links, and product images.
3. How information is used
Information is used only to operate PinPilot's content workflow, including preparing Pins, choosing the appropriate board, publishing approved content, preventing duplicate posts, and reviewing the performance of the owner's content.
4. AI-assisted processing
When AI-assisted writing is enabled, limited non-sensitive product or content information may be sent to the configured AI service in order to generate titles, descriptions, keywords, calls-to-action, or other publishing copy. PinPilot is designed not to send customer payment information or other sensitive personal information for this purpose.
5. Sharing
PinPilot does not sell personal information. Information is only shared with service providers when necessary to provide a configured feature, such as an authorized API provider, hosting provider, or AI inference provider.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is retained only for as long as needed to operate the workflow. The owner may remove locally stored product and publishing data. If access to a third-party service is revoked or cooperation ends, associated data can be deleted when it is no longer required.
7. Pinterest data
PinPilot accesses Pinterest data only after authorization by the account owner and only within the permissions granted. PinPilot does not provide third parties with access to the owner's Pinterest API credentials.
8. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to limit access to credentials and application data. API tokens and secrets should be stored in private environment variables and must not be placed in public source code.
9. Your choices
The owner may disconnect Pinterest, stop the application, revoke API access, or delete locally stored application data at any time.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application changes. The latest version will always be published on this page with the updated date.
